Studio 52 Recordings is one of Melbourne's finest recording facilities and has been operated by Paul Higgins & Trevor Carter since 1986. Studio 52 initiated the Kool Skools Project with a pilot program in 1996.The official project started in Victoria in 1997. Studio 52 continues to coordinate all aspects of the project, which has grown to become a successful program being delivered in Victoria and NSW.
Studio 52 has two professional band orientated music recording studios which are utilised through Kool Skools recordings, plus studio D which is a graphics/multimedia studio. A fourth studio is also under the same roof and concentrates on solo artist projects. All four studios at 52 are now fully compatible as they all use the latest Apple G5 computers and Logic Audio in combination. Studio 52 specialises in complete CD packages, which include recording, mastering, artwork and manufacture of final CD’s. Studio 52 is involved in many areas of the music business and caters for many large or small recording jobs including voice-overs for a wide variety of customers.
